At Remote Philippines, we don’t just work remotely—we grow, celebrate, and thrive together as one community. And this July, in celebration of our 7th anniversary, we took our connection to new heights (and new places) with a team-building trip to Thailand.
Thanks to the unwavering support of our President, Debbie Latoza, and the leadership of our Director, this unforgettable trip brought our internal team together—not just as colleagues, but as people united by purpose, passion, and shared goals.

Day 1 – July 17: When Plans Change, We Adapt
Our journey kicked off with a twist: some unexpected cramps meant the team had to split up temporarily. But in true Remote Philippines fashion, we stayed flexible and made the most of the day. We explored the tranquil Benchakiti Park, then escaped the rain by heading indoors to CentralWorld Mall and Big C for some bonding over food, shopping, and laughs.
Day 2 – July 18: Culture and Celebration
An early start led us to the majestic Grand Palace, where we took in Thailand’s rich culture and stunning architecture. After a quick change back at our accommodation, we headed out for a night to remember: a dinner cruise at Iconsiam to mark our company anniversary. It was a heartfelt celebration of 7 years of impact, innovation, and community.

Day 3 – July 19: Exploring Pattaya
We hit the road early for a 2-hour trip to Pattaya. Our first stop was the awe-inspiring Sanctuary of Truth, followed by a delicious lunch at the scenic 3 Mermaids Restaurant. The journey continued to a Gem Factory, where we learned about Thailand’s jewelry craftsmanship. Later, we wandered through Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, where elephants, dinosaur statues, and lush greenery surrounded us—until rain cut our tour short. Still, spirits were high! We wrapped up the day by capturing memories at Phra Phuttha Mahawachirauttamophat Satsada Place.
Day 4 – July 20: Local Treasures
Our cultural adventure resumed with a visit to the iconic Wat Arun Temple, a true gem of Bangkok. Then, we indulged in a classic Thai experience: hunting for the perfect “pasalubong” at Chatuchak Weekend Market. The joy of finding something special to bring home was the perfect way to wrap up our trip.
Day 5 – July 21: Back to the Philippines
With our hearts full and bags packed, we flew back home—grateful, recharged, and more connected than ever.
This trip reminded us of what makes Remote Philippines unique:
✅ We are more than just a remote team.
✅ We are a group of passionate individuals, bound by a mission to make remote work human, purpose-driven, and powerful.
✅ And above all, we are a community.
To our team, clients, and leadership—thank you. Your ideas, trust, and heart have made this journey possible. Here’s to more growth, more memories, and more shared success.
