Full-time, Mon-Fri (6 am – 3 pm PH Time)
Key Responsibility:
We are looking for a Spatial Developer who is both a strong Python engineer and experienced with geospatial data systems. You’ll design and build workflows that process, manage, and deliver spatial data (rasters, vectors, point clouds, etc.) efficiently and reliably.
Ideally, you have 5+ years’ experience building commercial applications and services, and you understand the challenges of handling geospatial data at scale. You can bridge the gap between backend engineering and GIS, working on architecture as well as implementation.
You are confident with:
• Python (including spatial/data libraries such as numpy, rasterio, shapely, fiona, GDAL)
• fastAPI
• PostgreSQL + PostGIS
• Spatial workflows and formats (rasters, vectors, projections, CRS handling, file
conversions)
• Designing and implementing scalable spatial data pipelines and APIs
• Docker, AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda)
• Testing (unit & integration), CI/CD, GitHub
• Spatial indexing, tiling, and optimisation for performance at scale
