Business Development Representative

 

Full-time, Mon-Fri (8 am – 5 pm PH Time)

Key Responsibility:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively source and engage potential clients through various outreach methods, including cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, referrals, and networking events.
  • Business Opportunity Progression:
    • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client needs and requirements.
    • Design and develop service solutions aligned with client objectives.
    • Maintain client engagement through the final stages of the sales process (close/contract).
    • Effectively articulate and present workforce solutions to generate sales opportunities and business engagements.
  • Closing Opportunities:
    • Address and resolve identified concerns and challenges to facilitate deal and contract closure.
    • Develop working knowledge of basic legal considerations and operational requirements to reassure clients during the contracting stage.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging client needs.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with leadership to design and implement targeted sales strategies aligned with Remote Philippines’ growth objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients by understanding their pain points and delivering tailored outsourcing solutions.
  • Decision-Making: Manage escalations and analyze challenges to drive effective resolutions.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and provide regular performance updates to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability in meeting sales targets.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding of new clients by coordinating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery from day one.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 3 years in a BPO environment.
  • Strong understanding of staffing, RPO, or talent acquisition models.
  • 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated coaching capabilities.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of the U.S., Canada, Australia, Singapore, or UK business landscape.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and rotating schedules.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to convert market insights into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, highly organized, and strong problem-solving skills.
