Ad Operations Specialist
Client based in UK
Full-time, Mon-Fri (5 pm – 2 am PH Time)
Key Responsibility:
Publisher Onboarding & Management: Oversee the onboarding of new publishers, ensuring smooth integration with our ad tech stack and adherence to best practices. Manage ongoing relationships with publishers to optimize ad placements and revenue opportunities.
Google Ad Manager (GAM) & SSP Integration: Oversee the setup and ongoing management of GAM and SSP integrations, ensuring proper alignment such as naming conventions and best practices.
SSP Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs) to ensure optimal ad inventory performance.
Prebid/Amazon TAM Setup & Maintenance: Implement and maintain Prebid setups, optimizing for performance and revenue through our management UI.
A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests to assess and improve ad performance across our ad stack via our management UI.
Analytics Reporting: Provide detailed analytics and reporting on ad performance, offering insights and recommendations for optimizations.
Ads.txt Management: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of ads.txt files across all publisher properties.
Campaign Setup: Manage the end-to-end process of digital ad campaign setup, from initial planning to execution and performance tracking.
Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of all ad operations processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and ease of training for new team members.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Strong experience in digital advertising operations, specifically with programmatic ad technologies.
- Proficiency in Google Ad Manager (GAM), Amazon TAM and other SSP platforms.
- Solid understanding of Prebid/TAM and header bidding strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and optimization.
- Proficiency in software such as Google Sheet and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in video ad monetization.
- Familiarity with in-image ad solutions.
- Knowledge of exit ads and other user engagement ad strategies.
- Experience in working with editorial teams to optimize ad placements within content.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Analyze Publisher Revenue Data: Monitor and analyze publisher revenue data to identify opportunities for performance improvement, catch early signs of up/down trends, and take appropriate actions.
- Liaise with SSPs and Publishers: Collaborate with SSPs and publishers to resolve technical issues and optimize inventory usage, ensuring maximum revenue generation.
- Onboard New Publishers and SSPs: Oversee the onboarding process for new publishers and SSPs, including creating ad placements, mapping header bidding IDs, and managing Prebid/TAM configurations.
- Conduct A/B Testing: Regularly perform A/B tests to identify the most effective ad partners and strategies, continuously improving ad yields.
- Manage Ads.txt Files: Regularly update and manage ads.txt files across all properties to ensure compliance and maximize ad revenue potential.
- Provide Performance Reports: Generate reports on ad performance, delivering actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Manage and Optimize Ad Campaigns: Ensure ongoing ad campaigns are optimized to meet and exceed performance goals
