Rostering Assistant

Client based in AU

Full-time, Mon-Fri (6 am – 3 pm PH Time)

Key Responsibility:

  • Assist in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of staff rosters, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and departments.
  • Work closely with team leaders, managers, and HR personnel to understand staffing requirements and preferences, and collaborate to develop rosters that meet operational needs while considering employee preferences and availability.
  •  Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data, including availability, leave requests, and skill sets, to facilitate efficient rostering and decision-making.
  • Communicate roster changes, updates, and relevant information to staff members in a timely and professional manner, ensuring clarity and transparency.
  • Ensure rostering practices comply with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations, and assist in monitoring and managing compliance related issue
  • Identify and address rostering issues, conflicts, and challenges promptly and proactively, seeking solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of rostering processes, procedures, and decisions, and assist in developing and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Provide training and support to team members on rostering tools, processes, and best practices, promoting efficiency and effectiveness in roster management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum Diploma in business administration, human resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Proficiency in rostering software or scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements related to rostering and workforce management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
