SAP Master Data Management

• Create, maintain, and govern SAP PM master data, including Functional Locations, Equipment Masters, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Task Lists, and Maintenance Plans.
• Develop structured and scalable asset hierarchies aligned with fixed plant systems, including crushing, conveying, and processing circuits.
• Ensure compliance with master data governance standards, naming conventions, and data quality requirements.
• Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of asset and maintenance records within SAP.

Maintenance Strategy Development

• Develop and implement preventative, predictive, condition-based, and statutory maintenance strategies within SAP PM.
• Translate OEM manuals, reliability data, and operational requirements into effective task lists, maintenance items, and maintenance plans.
• Configure time-based, counter-based, and performance-based maintenance schedules to support asset reliability and plant performance.
• Establish maintenance frameworks aligned with operational, safety, and compliance requirements.

Work Management & Planning Support

• Configure maintenance plans and support integration with SAP work order processes.
• Develop standard job plans and work packages to support maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
• Define labour requirements, trade disciplines, estimated hours, and resource allocations for maintenance tasks.
• Link materials and spare parts through BOM structures to improve planning efficiency and work order readiness.
• Enhance work order quality, consistency, and execution effectiveness.

Reliability & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with Reliability Engineers to optimise maintenance strategies using failure history, MTBF analysis, and asset criticality assessments.
• Support Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and defect elimination initiatives.
• Review and improve maintenance intervals, task effectiveness, and asset performance outcomes.
• Contribute to initiatives that reduce unplanned downtime and improve plant reliability.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure statutory inspections, regulatory requirements, and safety-critical maintenance activities are incorporated within SAP PM.
• Maintain auditable maintenance records that meet site, corporate, and regulatory standards.
• Support internal and external audits through accurate reporting and documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with Maintenance Planners, Supervisors, Reliability Engineers, Asset Engineers, and Operations teams.
• Provide guidance and training on SAP PM master data standards, maintenance planning processes, and governance requirements.
• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP PM master data and maintenance strategy development.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience using SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) within mining, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or processing environments.
• Strong understanding of fixed plant equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, motors, and rotating equipment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
